About me

Hi, my name is Rachel Fox. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, having graduated from Texas Woman’s University in 2015 with a Master’s of Science in Family Therapy. Since then, I have worked in private practice, in group practice, and for several Children’s Advocacy Centers in the North Texas area. I have had extensive training in treating trauma in children. I also work with couples on improving respect and building trust in their relationship. Additionally, I am fluent in American Sign Language and have worked with the Deaf and HoH population for over 15 years.

My relationship with Jesus informs my treatment of clients. I am an integrative therapist, working with techniques from the solutions-based approach, the systems approach, and narrative therapy. People do not exist in isolation; they exist within the context of a system of relationships. Therefore, even in working with individuals, the entire system is taken into consideration as we progress through treatment.

Each client is unique, so my goal is to match treatment to what you are needing and what fits your personality best. As I have grown as a therapist, I have learned to keep an eye out for disconnections within your life- relationships which have been cut off, ways you are ignoring your “gut”, and how your walk with the Lord has been recently. I pray with and pray for my clients as I am working with them. God is the Healer, and I want to boldly approach the throne of grace with you and on your behalf, especially as you are doing the tough work of counseling. You definitely get out of counseling what you put into counseling, and I would be honored to work alongside you on your journey to healing. Collaboration with you is my approach to treatment. I am equipped to address a variety of issues, including:

  • PTSD and Trauma
  • Couple’s Counseling
  • Family Therapy
  • Depression
  • Anxiety and Panic Attacks
  • Stress and Burnout
  • Anger
  • Loneliness
  • Suicidal Feelings
  • Low Self-Esteem
  • Difficulty in Relationships
  • Life Coaching and more
